And then I'd have a bunch of fruit trees that would decorate my backyard... Now I'd love to have chickens, too.
I want my kids to appreciate and love the earth like I have come to love it after spending so much time on my grandparents' farm (which consists of a few cows and some chickens). I think there are problems that you can buy a part of a cow and take care of it or something. Something you may want to look into?? I've noticed some people have been unsettled by the topics I've brought up, and I remember feeling that way--that it was somehow inappropriate or doubtful to question things. But after going through my own season of wrestling and truly questioning, I almost glory in asking difficult questions of my faith. I'm no longer afraid that what I find will be too overwhelming to continue with a testimony. Could information stop me in my tracks and give me pause or even doubts? Absolutely, but the struggle for truth, rather than the safety net of perceived truth has shown to be strengthening of faith in a way that couldn't be if I had stayed away from difficult questions.Amanda Kaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18395281740355137439noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8607238676091190498.post-68141590210557145312013-02-16T14:23:40.684-07:002013-02-16T14:23:40.684-07:00I thought we were gonna be red jungle fowl buddies...I thought we were gonna be red jungle fowl buddies! ;) Actually if I ever get chickens in Utah it'll be Russian Orloffs. Nope, don't think the words have been invented. But the words available to me, I love you and think you are amazing. I agree completely with your essay. And the same technique might not even work that worked before with that same individual. Getting kids to sleep sucks. Forever.

3. You can never hold your baby too much. Unless you don't like it anymore and still feel like you have to, that would be too much.

4. You are SO LUCKY that your mom was able to be with you for so long. It really stinks sometimes that I've got baby brothers still and my mom can't come for more than 2 days. (and probably never will, since Nathanael has Down syndrome)

5. Oh, the constant nursing of the first child!!!!! Ugh, I don't even want to think about it. Human pacifier. Yes.

6. I still struggle to figure out what activities to do with Rachel during the day and how to be a good teacher. I feel like I know what I'm doing with Wesley.

7. I wish I'd known that being a mom is hard and that sometimes mothering doesn't come naturally and if you don't sleep or eat that you will get serious clinical depression. And that nursing is hard. And that it's okay to bottle feed. And you don't have to feel guilty all of the time. And that you can do whatever feels right to you.

Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06071992105850067876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8607238676091190498.post-62924410164348804772013-01-30T23:29:43.365-07:002013-01-30T23:29:43.365-07:00I'd say 90% of the time it feels like "be...I'd say 90% of the time it feels like "being harried by small children during the day and then self-medicating on romance novels at night."
